Alliance Partners

The CVCTA will achieve its goal through a broad-based alliance with many partners.  CVCTA has already established formal and informal support from many individuals and groups.  Some of the Alliance partners are listed below.  Formal Partners have indicated they encourage our efforts through written statements of support, joined our board, or made financial or in-kind contributions.  Working Partners are individuals and groups that have partnered with us on trails advocacy and planning.  They are working with us in the planning and development of the urban trails network in the Coachella Valley.

City of Coachella: Resolution of Support.  The Mayor of the City of Coachella, Eduardo Garcia, is on the CVCTA’s Board of Directors.  CVCTA is working with City of Coachella Parks and Planning staff to develop a trails element for their Parks Master Plan.

Desert Bicycle Club: The president of the Coachella Valley Bike Club, Gary Lueders, is on the CVCTA’s Board of Directors.  The Desert Bicycle Club is working with CVCTA to develop a valley-wide map of urban trails and bikeways.

North Shore Community Council:  The president of the North Shore Community Council, Jennie Kelly, is on the CVCTA’s Board of Directors.
